PARTICIPANTS WILL:
Explore their own beliefs about student engagement, behaviour management and ways of responding to conflict
Understand the philosophy and rationale behind restorative practices such as conferencing and circles
Explore typical school-based scenarios requiring intervention
Plan for ways to introduce and embed restorative practices across a school community
It is intended for all school staff seeking to better understand restorative justice practices and ways of effectively using them to resolve conflict and support positive changes in student behaviour.
